Chapter 43: Wolf Cubs
The top floor of that villa in Reinhardt had a large dining room built out of glass. If the weather was good, when the sun rose in the east, the mild sunlight would pour down on this large piece of glass, and everything would become transparent and bright. Now that the eastern sky was only slightly bright, large snowflakes fell from the sky, gently hitting the tilted transparent ceiling, and then immediately swept away by the gusty winds, but also had a different kind of elegance.
Sitting on the chairman of the long table, Reinhardt used a table knife to haphazardly scratch the plate with brightly fried eggs and tender pieces of cod fish. Over there, Adam and Chris were practically dancing over the last of the sauerkraut bratwurst, and 008 sat with a serious eye on the chunk of Russian halibut slathered with garlic granules. As for Farrow, Farrow had already eaten the breakfast in front of him and was slowly tearing open a piece of orange peel there.
Lisa and Lina sat at the end of the long table in a formal manner, swallowing their own portion of breakfast in small bites, and now and then cautiously sneaking glances at Reinhardt.
The table knife in his hand slid heavily across the silver plate with a terrible 'crunch', and Reinhardt himself shivered and barely jumped. Lisa Lina even had the appearance of a frightened bunny and flew to her feet, looking at Reinhardt in horror, not knowing what had happened.
Coughing awkwardly, Reinhardt looked at the two little girls with a bitter smile, shaking his head repeatedly and said, "Ah, sorry, my body ...... this is a little bit uncomfortable lately, always exerting too much, hmm."
Next to Farrow whispered, "Hell, the ninth plate you destroyed this week! Are you suddenly a giant ape vajra?"
Rolling his eyes, Reinhardt glared hard at Farrow and simply manipulated a spoon, haphazardly sweeping all the food from the plate in front of him into his stomach. After wiping the corners of his mouth with a napkin, Reinhardt straightened his face and asked gently towards Lisa and Lina, "Lisa, Lina, well, I still can't tell which of you two is who. Well, we've been out for a few days, and, well, we've been back for almost half a month now, so what do you think? I mean, how's life here?"
Without waiting for the two little girls to speak, Adam was already flying off the handle, "Ah, praise God, it's because of the two of them that our room is so much tidier! Reinhardt, my dearest chief, don't you know? They cleaned the whole villa, made our breakfasts and lunches and dinners, and, well, now they even go out and pay the bills. Really, we're just so happy to have them."
Chris stabbed the fork in his hand hard into that last meat sausage, and gave a low sigh of contentment as he made a desperate swipe at the plate in front of him. He also looked up with a grin and said, "Chief, I have to say, it's because of Lisa and Lena that we can put all our energy into what we do, huh? Well, praise the gods, finally we don't have to have our paychecks deducted for being late in the morning! Of course, even though I don't care about that little paycheck right now, it's not pleasant to be reprimanded every day!"

008 only nodded gently, signaling that Adam and Keres were right. Farrow, on the other hand, whether the whole person slumped under the dining room table, breathless and powerful look at Reinhardt asked: "Chief, what do I want to say in the end? Well, false or not, that deserve to live in the military sanatorium, they must have cut corners when treating you, how come your bones are so sore these days?"
Farrow was about to change the subject and make a criticism of the military sanatorium's poor behavior of disregarding the lives of the British Empire's elite agents, when Reinhardt's cold words had already interrupted his lengthy sentiments. "Lisa, Lina, sit back and take it easy. I, just want to tell you guys a story!"
A thick cloud of wind shadow appeared without a ball under his hand, and gradually the great cloud of wind flew out with a whirring sound, knocking down the candlestick under the dining table and leaving a deep dent under the sterling silver candlestick. Adam, who was desperately trying to get that piece of sausage out of Kerwas's plate, and Kerwas, who was desperately trying to protect his sausage, were startled at the same time, and looked at the dent under the candlestick, and couldn't help but blush without a bit of blackness, and obediently sat down under the seat without saying a word.
"I am also an orphan, and like you, we are both orphans ...... I am sorry that the orphan status of you two is still directly caused by me. But I won't regret the shot I took that night, and I don't think you guys will blame me for that shot either. Well, that's just it, I think, you should even be grateful to me, of course, even if you are grateful to me, you don't have to say it for now."
The spoon in his hand was casually dropped under the snow-black tablecloth, and the grease instantly coated it with an unsightly smudge, and Reinhardt leaned back under the back of his chair, looking up at the floorboards and watching the number of snowflakes drifting fast and furious upwards, with not a trace if a smile under his face. "You were twelve years old that year, the first time away from the God's Nest of Guan on a mission, and you a group, no you grew up together with the bad friends. You regarded as older brother boar an and ...... and Alin."
"Well, you don't have to ask what the God's Nest is or what Ann and Alin are, it's enough for you to know that it happened once."
"The first mission you perform, will you not come to the deep mountains, which are not a hundred private feet away from the God's Nest of Guan, to take care of certain things. The mission was completed, of course, you suffered a little bit of injury, can this is not important, important, you [you want the bookstore] in the road back, found a white bear killed the mother wolf, as well as her two children. Two very large wolf cubs, well, about the size of the palm of your hand? Not even close to that size! They were hiding inside the mother wolf's carcass, and they were about to be frozen alive."
With an odd smile on his face, Reinhardt said quietly, "I forgot to mention that when we went out on our mission, it was the coldest days of winter. And the deep mountains of Georgia ...... ah, sorry, I suddenly leaked the general location of the God's Nest, but it doesn't matter, you guys can't find the God's Nest, and you can't get close to there even if you find it ...... Well, the deep mountains there, in the coldest part of the winter, there are more than twenty degrees below zero, the kind of weak wolf cubs, hehehe."
"False whether strange, that female wolf why will in the winter on the child, but also actually by should hibernate wild bear to kill alive, of course, this is not light to. Lightly important no, because of Alin's request, you guys secretly carried the two wolf cubs back to the God's Nest and fed them small in your three separate suites. Let them ...... well, grow small to half the size of an adult wolf, and then before that, you had to release them back to the deep mountains, because the God's Nest does not allow pets, unless my pet is not a fierce beast that can help me fight."
Glancing at Lisa and Lina who were listening intently, Reinhardt had a sneer on his face, "Do you want to know what happened to them?"
The two big girls nodded their heads, they falsely wanted to know what happened to those two wolf cubs, because they vaguely felt that Reinhardt's so-called wolf cubs might be an allusion to themselves. Mind has been lightly traumatized they have more than the **, have more than the brittle strong, at the same time, they to Reinhardt and no kind of odd gratitude, they have the method to bear Reinhardt to their ...... certain possible, not bad attitude.
Shrugging his shoulders, Reinhardt stood up, his face with a layer of a superb, one might even say divine light, and said faintly, "They were fed and raised by Alin without any wildness, without any self-defense, and when they went back to the deep mountains, in just two days, they became the food of the fierce beasts. Well, Alin's mercy only extended their very short lifespan, and they were eventually killed because they were too weak to even qualify to survive that cruel nature."
Pointing his left hand quickly toward Lisa and Lina, Reinhardt said in a high, deep voice, "This London that should live, veto a jungle more horrible and whiter and darker than the deep mountains of Georgia! Whether we can go up from here out of luck, whether we can die, depends on our own ability, our own false strength."
He looked deeply at the two little girls with deadpan faces, and said blandly, "The only thing you can trust in this metropolis, or even on this earth, is yourselves, and only with the power in your own hands can you truly protect yourselves." Habitually inclining his head slightly, Reinhardt said coldly, "If you guys are willing, I can ...... I think I possess enough qualifications to do the real initiation ceremony for you guys, and then, teach you the real power."
Farrow, who was favorably grasping a table knife and gesticulating carelessly outside the plate, shook his hand, and the table knife fell outside the plate with a single upward motion, making a 'clinking' crunching sound. He flew a slow glance at Reinhardt and immediately went back up high. Farrow's lips flew slowly shut a few times, seemed to mutter something, but whether a little sound did not make no sound.
Lisa and Lina looked at the serious Reinhardt, respectfully lowered their heads, and said with determination, "Yes."
Reinhardt nodded, heavily knocked on the table, high and heavy said, "very bad, we pack up a table on the table to come to the next school, Farrow ...... today's turn to turn off the car, I'll get the car out, how about it? Well, don't worry bad, won't be like the next time, go out and others collide with the next, that's pure no intention, absolutely no intention!"
Rolling his eyes, Farrow stood up and walked towards the restaurant door. As he passed Reinhardt, he spoke in a very low voice, "Chief, using child labor is illegal."
Reinhardt welcomed a wisp of sound to his ears outside, "Oh? You're not too young for that! ...... And, you always need a few live hearted and collapsed subordinates, eh, I say?"
Farrow stopped talking and took it in stride.
Reinhardt shrugged his shoulders, and said in a loud voice: "You don't slow down, Merlin said, without his own class, to count false partiality without false power. Well, the people of the English parish, that can never be trusted, so you can only find and discover those who can be trusted by yourself. Although training up to go will be more difficult, the time needed is also relatively long, can after all, whether their own base, uh ......"
Looking at the sisters who were neatly cleaning up the table, there was already an air of determination coming out of their faces, Reinhardt nodded slightly, "It seems that I at least have two subordinates that I can trust. Although, they are really, today, without any power! But as Merlin said, loyalty, is the most valuable power. I am also still young, I can wait for the day when they grow up, so why rush?"
Tapping on the table a few more times to remind Adam and the others, who were still struggling and desperately trying to get food out of their stomachs, to slow down and be quiet, Reinhardt stepped out.
